O Mostaru

 

Mostar je grad u Bosni i Hercegovini, centar hercegovačko-neretvanskog kantona u Federaciji BiH. Smješten je na rijeci Neretvi i peti je grad po veličini. Dobio je ime po Starom mostu i kulama koje se nalaze na obje strane obale. Važan je turistički centar te ima gradski aerodrom. Katoličko svetište Međugorje se nalazi nedaleko od Mostara.

Mostar is a town in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the center of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton of the Federation BiH. Mostar is situated on the Neretva river and is the fifth-largest town in the country. Mostar was named after its Old Bridge (Stari most) and the towers on its sides. Mostar is an important tourist centre with an International Airport. The Catholic pilgrimage site of Međugorje is located nearby.
